Finally a new update!

I know I know it's been so long since I added to this. I had great intentions on keeping this up, but well it just hasn't gone as planned;)

So here's the latest in our lives. Eric as you can see is growing and becoming such a big kid. He loves our tree in our front yard and is now climbing and jumping out of it. I am now officially scared for his life:) But boys will be boys right? He is so much energy still, but such a lover too. Out of the blue I will always hear "I love you mom" or get a great big hug and kiss! He is such a sweet boy! He's turning 4 next month. I can't believe it. I am totally going to treasure this next year that I have home with him.

Dustin is 5 and half months! I can't believe it. I'm really sad about it actually. I can't seem to get him to stop growing. He is now rolling over constantly! Only problem is he rolls onto his stomach all the time in his bed so he'll wake up crying because he's stuck and he hates to be on his belly! It's kind of funny:) One way he is totally like Eric is he doesn't like to be still!! He doesn't want to just sit on your lap. He wants to stand all the time! He loves his little exasaucer and will stay in there forever!! I think it makes him feel less vulnerable to Eric invading his space:) He is a GREAT baby!! Sleeps 10 to 12 hours at night. Many naps still and just laughs and giggles all the time! I love this kid so much!!

So I had my birthday recently and it was the best birthday ever! I got to go on a date to Papa Bros. Steakhouse. It was so yummy!! Yes I ate a steak! And I loved it:) Then Chris took me to a bed and breakfast for the weekend. It was so wonderful. My sister Melyssa flew in to see me. A complete surprise!! She kept the boys for us so we could enjoy our time away!! So sweet of her.

While Melyssa was here we went to the circus! Here's Melyssa with Dustin. I think she totally fell in love with him. But it's hard not too:)

Our family

So I'm working on starting cereal with Dustin. He's not too sure of what he thinks about it. Eric Loved it and had no problem eating it. Dustin seems to be just satisfied with milk! But we'll keep trying. He doesn't really need to be eating it til 6 months so I have a little bit before I really need to work on it with him!

So Eric fell while running and playing in the water! He busted his lip and knocked his tooth loose! The tooth is still hanging on but he could loose it anyday now. We acutally go back to the dentist today for them to take another look at it and see how it's doing. We all just kept telling him he was going to look like a real hockey player now:) Poor baby!

Easter

So time has flown by so fast already! Dustin is smiling and you can already get a little baby giggle out of him. He's starting to sleep through the night which is so wonderful! I can't believe how rested I feel with just 6 hrs of sleep! Eric is so in love with Dustin still. Can't get him to stop kissing him. Eric no longer wakes up excited to see me, it's "Where's baby?" first thing in the morning! Eric is staying occupied with his skating and hockey lessons. Lets him wear out his energy! Ask him anything about hockey and he can give you an answer. Even if it's his own made up answer:) Chris and I are so in love with having 2 boys! I of course love being the only girl and knowing I'll be the Queen of the household:) Here's a few pictures from Easter. It was a really nice day. Dustin's first holiday! More fun times to come I'm sure!

Traumatic Story

So we had our first big brother hurting little brother episode! Chris had been holding Dustin and went to lay him down on our bed so he could go to the bathroom. I was in on the computer. Not sure where Eric was at the time. But we soon heard a crying scream come from Dustin. Chris and I both rushed in there and found Eric with him. When we asked Eric what happened he said he hit him. I asked him where and he pointed to his stomach. Now Eric was wearing his hockey glove so the hit would of been pretty hard. Eric got in BIG trouble. I took Dustin and went to feed him to calm him down. After I fed him I changed his diaper. When I opened it up it was full of blood and his circumcision ring was barely hanging on by a little thread. Now we had just been to the dr. that afternoon and the dr. said it was still on there pretty good and would be atleast a couple of days before it would fall off. I knew immediately what had happened. Eric had hit him in his man part and had ripped the ring off. Therefore why Dustin was so hysterical!! Imagine the pain. So we called the dr. immediately and they said as long as the bleeding had stopped he would be okay. He just had a traumatic way of it coming off instead of letting it come off naturally!!

Would you of ever thought? Look how sweet he is with him!

Just some new pictures of some of my visitors

Dustin Marshall Trombley

Well he has finally arrived!! Which is why it's been two weeks and I'm just finally posting this! He was born Friday Feb. 27th 2009~ Weight 7lbs 7oz. 20 inches long. He is so tiny and had the tiniest little face. Much different from Eric's big cheeks!!! Wow life with two kids is already a little tiring. But man are we in love with him. I ended up having a c-section. It was horrible!!!! My spinal tap didn't work so I could feel them working on me. I won't go into details because it will make you cringe. Just know it hurt! So they ended up putting me out. Which was horrible because the medicine made me totally out of it the rest of the day. I couldn't even hold Dustin except when I was feeding him because I would just fall asleep and I was so afraid I would drop him!! So Sat. was a much better day because I could finally bond with my little boy!
Eric is so in love with him. First thing he says every morning is "Where's my baby?" Then he wants to hold him first thing while he watches Hockey! It's already a morning routine! The only routine we have so far:) So here's a few pictures to enjoy and I'm really going to try and keep this updated with new pictures. These boys grow so fast!!

C Section

So no baby yet. Which means a C section tomorrow at 1:30. Chris took off today so we can get everything ready and prepared for tomorrow. That is the nice thing about a c section. You get to plan and prepare! So by tomorrow night hopefully we will have some pictures up and you'll know if we have a Boy or Girl!! We are so excited. Of-course anxious to see how little Eric is going to take this. So stay tuned and we'll keep you updated!

Baby T Update

Well here is our update from today's appt. I am at a 1 which means I've progressed from last appt. Hooray!! Still soft and thinning another Hooray!! The baby however has not dropped yet. So I am scheduled for another appt next Wed. Now a week from tomorrow I will be a week late. That was about all my Dr. was going to let me go to for trying a VBAC. So on Wed. I'll have a sono and a check up. If I still have not progressed then a c-section will be scheduled. Either Thur., Fri, or if we want we can do it Sat. morning on our Anniversary. I think it's safe to say we'll skip the Sat. option. Don't want to totally give our anniversary away to this baby:) So needless to say anything can still happen, but for sure a week from now this baby will be here. And if it's by c-section then that's fine. I've done it before I can do it again:) Oh yes and I'll be getting my tubes tied for those of you that want to know!!!

We Did It

We have finally succeeded! It has been the longest journey for us and probably our biggest tackle of parenthood yet!! This boy did not want to poop in the potty. Therefore that held up the whole training issue! In Jan. we had our first success but it would only happen once in a blue moon. So a week and a half ago we did a sticker chart (we had tried this before, but for some reason it worked this time). If he would poop in the potty for a straight week we would go to Chuckie E Cheese! It worked and he hasn't had an accident since. So a few of his buddies joined us for the fun.

Hockey Time!!

We have finally put Eric into Skate lessons!! As most of you know this kid is obsessed with hockey (baseball too, but it's not the right season). So they let you start kids at age 3. He is loving it. His lesson is for 30 min. and then they have public skating afterwards for an hour and a half. So he skates for 2 hours!!!! I don't know how he doesn't get tired but we can't get him off the ice until they blow the whistle that it's time to go! It's been so neat to see how good he is, all the kids are actually. I never knew 3 yr olds could skate so well at such a young age. It's been fun to watch! Here are a few pictures.

This is him a couple of weeks in. He's going to town here. He also got a new hockey helmet which makes him "so cool"
They make the kids throw stuff animals and then they skate to pick them up and bring them back. It's always the first warm up.

This is the first day and him getting on the ice for the first time.
Not so great picture of Chris but the only one I had with Eric looking at the camera!
