Baby T Update

Well here is our update from today's appt. I am at a 1 which means I've progressed from last appt. Hooray!! Still soft and thinning another Hooray!! The baby however has not dropped yet. So I am scheduled for another appt next Wed. Now a week from tomorrow I will be a week late. That was about all my Dr. was going to let me go to for trying a VBAC. So on Wed. I'll have a sono and a check up. If I still have not progressed then a c-section will be scheduled. Either Thur., Fri, or if we want we can do it Sat. morning on our Anniversary. I think it's safe to say we'll skip the Sat. option. Don't want to totally give our anniversary away to this baby:) So needless to say anything can still happen, but for sure a week from now this baby will be here. And if it's by c-section then that's fine. I've done it before I can do it again:) Oh yes and I'll be getting my tubes tied for those of you that want to know!!!

We Did It

We have finally succeeded! It has been the longest journey for us and probably our biggest tackle of parenthood yet!! This boy did not want to poop in the potty. Therefore that held up the whole training issue! In Jan. we had our first success but it would only happen once in a blue moon. So a week and a half ago we did a sticker chart (we had tried this before, but for some reason it worked this time). If he would poop in the potty for a straight week we would go to Chuckie E Cheese! It worked and he hasn't had an accident since. So a few of his buddies joined us for the fun.

Hockey Time!!

We have finally put Eric into Skate lessons!! As most of you know this kid is obsessed with hockey (baseball too, but it's not the right season). So they let you start kids at age 3. He is loving it. His lesson is for 30 min. and then they have public skating afterwards for an hour and a half. So he skates for 2 hours!!!! I don't know how he doesn't get tired but we can't get him off the ice until they blow the whistle that it's time to go! It's been so neat to see how good he is, all the kids are actually. I never knew 3 yr olds could skate so well at such a young age. It's been fun to watch! Here are a few pictures.

This is him a couple of weeks in. He's going to town here. He also got a new hockey helmet which makes him "so cool"
They make the kids throw stuff animals and then they skate to pick them up and bring them back. It's always the first warm up.

This is the first day and him getting on the ice for the first time.
Not so great picture of Chris but the only one I had with Eric looking at the camera!

Celine Dion

Well a dream has come true!! I finally made it to a Celine Dion concert!! I can't explain how much I have always wanted to go. When she had her break from touring I thought that's it I'll never see her in concert. But sure enough she shows up in Dallas to perform!! She hadn't been in Dallas for 10 years! Wow. So for my anniversary all I wanted was to see her perform! And I did!! Her tickets were sold out, but the Roberts had some connections and found some tickets for us. And then our friend Mr Onyon works at the AA and he moved us down to the 3rd row!!! It was so unbelievable I can't put it into words. We were so close to her stage and we were on the side where she walks out so the people in front of us were able to shake her hand and hug her!! Soo totally cool (yes I know an 80's term, but I can't put it any other way)!! I just look back to when I was high school and I'd be in my bathroom, hairbrush in hand, and would be singing away to her songs! Mark my words, one day, in heaven I will sing like that:) So here are a few pictures. This is how close we were.

This is Emmitt Smith walking down in front of us to his seat!
I know the picture is blurry it's the best I got of her walking in front of us to the stage!

Dinosaur World

Papa and Nana and Uncle David took Eric to Dinosaur World today. It has 100 different dinosaur statues!! It's about an hour away. So they had Eric spend the night Friday. Then Saturday they headed down there and spent the day (which also meant I had lots of free time:)!! Eric LOVED it and has talked about it nonstop since he got home. He wants to have his next birthday there so we'll see what we can do:) Here are a few pictures of the adventure.

This is the fossil dig and they get to keep 3 things they find. Eric found a dinosaur tooth and was soooooooo excited.

Christmas Day!!!

So we did our gifts Christmas Eve since Christmas morning is little busy and we tend to sleep in!!

Chris reading the Christmas Story
So Excited
This is pretty much how it went. He was just unwrapping like crazy. It was his favorite part.

Eric giving me the present him and daddy bought
The BIG present
He was so excited he started clapping and said "Thank you for buying this for me"
Took off and had no problems. It's even a TREX atv. Could you get any better?
Eric sang some songs for the family before we started gifts. He loves an audience and sang loud with all the motions. I felt like my mother making Eric do that, but he loved it!
This is his favorite game now and we have played it nonstop!
These are his Handy Manny tools so he can help Daddy

Papa shares his Birthday with Jesus. Special Day!

Eric was so excited for Papa and insisted that he have a candle. You can't have a Birthday cake with no candles!!
